Phipps Country Farm
"Do" List
Over
the years many people have come to Phipps Country Farm to pick
seasonal fruit, stroll through the gardens and visit the animals
in the barnyard.
While most people have been respectful of other
guests and the hard work that goes into maintaining the farm, a
few continue to spoil the experience for everyone else, forcing
us to raise admission costs. To help keep admission costs down
and for the comfort of all guests, we ask that you observe the
following “Do List” during your visit:
Do
keep litter in its place by disposing of your trash in trash
cans and returning berry baskets to the
store.
Do
sample a few berries and be sure to pay for what you pick.
Do
respect the crops and plants on the farm by not
throwing fruit or walking on the crops and strawberry
patches.
Do
help the animals stay healthy and alive by not feeding them
plants, flowers, foreign objects, or anything other than
carrots or lettuce and by not teasing them, throwing things
at them or agitating them.
Do
bring your dog as well as a couple of “poop bags” for waste.
If you forgot to bring bags, take some plastic produce bags
from the store before venturing out so you will be prepared
for any accident. Dispose of all poop bags in a garbage can
please!
Do
keep your dog on a leash (or if the dog is very small you
can hold it) at all times – no exceptions!
Do
let us know if anyone is causing a problem for you, the
farm, or the animals so we can investigate immediately.
Do
have a great time!
Let’s make Phipps Country Farm
enjoyable for all!
